My Journey

I’m Clare

BA (Hons) DipION mBANT rCNHC

I’m a Registered Nutritional Therapist, mum of two, and a big believer that food should be both nourishing and joyful.

I started my nutritional therapy business in 2021, and not long after, I became a mum, and then again a few years later! Living through pregnancy, postpartum recovery, sleep deprivation, and the mental load of motherhood has given me a whole new understanding of how deeply our health, hormones and energy are affected during this stage of life.

If you’re feeling constantly tired, struggling with your mood, dealing with hormone-related symptoms, or just not quite feeling like yourself anymore… you’re absolutely not alone. And you’re in the right place.

My path into nutritional therapy wasn’t a straight line. While studying International Development, at the University of East Anglia, I volunteered as a teacher for a non-profit NGO in Guatemala. I loved helping children and young people build their confidence and feel empowered. This lead me into a career as a coach and mentor within the education sector. That experience has shaped how I work today—because true health isn’t just about food, it’s about feeling supported, understood and capable of change.

In 2017, I trained at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London, combining my passion for helping people with my love of good food and nutrition. Since then, I’ve worked with clients on a range of health concerns, with a particular focus on women’s health, hormones, and improving energy levels.

As a self-confessed foodie, I believe one of life’s principal joys is eating good food, very closely followed by the satisfaction you get from creating a delicious meal for yourself and the people you love. Preparing and sharing food is a wonderful way to connect with friends, family and your community. But I also know that life with young children often doesn’t allow for elaborate cooking or perfect routines.

I am passionate about making the connection with where our food comes from. Becoming a part of a community and connecting with organic growers and farmers locally. I believe supporting producers who respect and retain greater environmental diversity, yield higher welfare, sustainable and seasonal produce is a healthier choice for you, your community, your local environment and our planet as a whole. However, my priority when working with you is always to be supportive and realistic about what is possible. No extremes, no judgement—just practical, evidence-based guidance.

Perhaps most importantly, I understand what it’s like to juggle motherhood, your own wellbeing, and everything else that life throws at you. I know from experience how easy it is to put yourself last—and how transformative it can feel when you start to prioritise your own health again.

My approach is realistic and flexible—helping you make changes that feel achievable, not overwhelming. I will help you understand your body, support your hormones, and build habits that work for your life.

At the heart of what I do are two simple passions:

• Supporting and empowering women to feel their best

• Celebrating nourishing, delicious food that fits into real life

Because when you feel well, everything else feels that bit more manageable.

What People Are Saying

“Clare has a kind, genuine and warm manner.  She is a good listener and is thorough in her research.  I have suffered for over 15 years with various health issues including Ankylosing Spondylitis.  It has been hard to find someone who is both knowledgeable and willing to listen, understand and offer support during but also outside of scheduled consultations. I have come to learn that ongoing support is vital when undertaking this kind of lifestyle adjustment.  Clare's approach is realistic and achievable, which can be maintained long term.  My goals are being achieved with Clare's help, for which I am very thankful!”

— Sheila, Ennis

“Clare was warm and friendly from the outset. She listened carefully when I described my diet patterns and concerns. She helped me set some goals from which she provided a tailored plan of action on how we could go about reaching them. She made lots of practical and well informed suggestions as well as sharing some great recipes which made me feel really supported throughout the process. Clare genuinely cared about me and my progress. Her thoughtful and committed approach meant that I was able to finally make some long term diet and lifestyle changes that I had been putting off for a long time. I now feel far more educated on the topic of nutrition and far more in control of my own health and wellbeing.”

— Nadia, London

“Clare was very knowledgeable and informative and gave me practical nutritional guidance on how to manage my diet to meet the demands of a fairly hectic work schedule combined with family commitments and fitness goals. Her advice enabled me to make the right food and lifestyle choices that ultimately provided me with a much healthier sense of calm and wellbeing. Clare was excellent at listening to my story and selecting products and recommendations unique to my everyday.”
